All About LSS for High School Students
Training goes beyond the elements and facts we have mentioned so far.
After completing the training, students should be able to understand the system and how an LSS group works. They will be able to use the information and hours they have spent learning it in their projects as well as long as they know how to implement the structures and principles for it.
The belt, just like regular courses, will dictate the topics and skills covered. You don’t have to worry about which one is the right to take as each belt offers you opportunities and great knowledge. However, to give you an idea, this is a part of the outline during LSS training:
- Yellow belt training
All aspects of data collection, terminology, and methodology will be covered. The basics of data collection will be addressed as well as key principles.
- Green belt training
They will learn Lean 6 Sigma at a higher level but must still have the knowledge of the yellow belt in order to be eligible for certification.
After completing the green belt training, students will be able to use this method on a larger scale. We encourage collaboration and leadership to help students reach their goals.
This belt training covers: DMAIC, SIPOC and risk mitigation, regression analysis, and problem-solving.
